University of Allahabad Announces Seat Allotment for B.Com. Admissions (2024-2025)

 

The University of Allahabad has officially opened the seat allotment and counselling process for admissions into the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program for the academic session 2024-2025. This process is based on the results of the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG-2024).

Key details for candidates include:

- The merit calculation considers CUET-UG-2024 scores in three subjects: a language (Hindi or English), a domain subject (Accountancy/Book Keeping), and General Test.

- Candidates who did not appear in any of these tests will receive zero marks for that specific test.

 

- Seats will be allotted based on the computed CUET-UG-2024 scores during online counselling.

Once allotted a seat, candidates must complete the admission process within the specified time to confirm their place. The final admission is subject to the availability of seats and eligibility as per the program guidelines.

 

The university has provided specific merit and cutoff marks for different social categories:

- SC (CUET Marks: 204-206): Fee deposit window from 23/09/2024 (6:00 PM) to 25/09/2024 (11:55 PM).

- OBC (CUET Marks: 292-294):  Fee deposit window from 23/09/2024 (6:00 PM) to 25/09/2024 (11:55 PM).

- EWS (CUET Marks: 309-312): Fee deposit window from 23/09/2024 (6:00 PM) to 25/09/2024 (11:55 PM).
