University of Allahabad Releases BA Admission 6th Cut-Off and Fee Submission Schedule for 2024-25

Prayagraj, 18 September 2024: The University of Allahabad has officially released the cut-off marks and fee submission schedule for BA admissions for the academic year 2024-25. According to a notification issued by Prof. Ram Manohar Yadav, the Coordinator for BA Admissions 2024, candidates who have appeared for the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG-2024) are advised to visit the university's official website or the Samarth portal for counseling and seat allocation.

The merit for admission will be determined based on the CUET-UG-2024 scores in Language (Hindi or English), two Domain subjects, and the General Test. Students who did not appear for any of these sections will receive zero marks for the unattempted exam, which will be factored into their merit calculation.

Seats will be allocated to candidates based on their computed CUET-UG-2024 marks, and admissions will be strictly on merit and subject preference.

The schedule for cut-off marks and fee submission is as follows:

OBC: Cut-off marks range from 393 to 427. Fee submission window starts at midnight on 19 September 2024 and ends at 5:00 PM on 20 September 2024.

SC: Cut-off marks range from 290 to 379. Fee submission window is from 19 September 2024 (12:00 AM) to 20 September 2024 (5:00 PM).

EWS: Cut-off marks range from 372 to 433. Fee submission window is open from 19 September 2024 (12:00 AM) to 20 September 2024 (5:00 PM).

Arabic Quota: As per the list provided by the Department of Arabic, UoA. Fee submission window is from 19 September 2024 (12:00 AM) to 20 September 2024 (5:00 PM).

Candidates must submit their admission fees within the stipulated time to secure their seats. Admissions will be based on merit and subject to the availability of seats.
