University of Allahabad Initiates 9th Seat Allotment for B.Com. Program (2024-25)

The University of Allahabad has officially announced the seat allotment and counseling process for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) admissions for the academic session 2024-25. Admissions will be conducted based on the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG-2024) scores.

According to the notice, the merit list for admissions will be based on the CUET-UG-2024 scores, considering the following components:

1. Language test (Hindi or English)

2. Domain subject (Accountancy/Book Keeping)

3. General test

Candidates who did not appear for any of these components will be marked zero (0) for that particular test, which could affect their seat allotment.

Once the merit is computed based on CUET-UG scores, eligible candidates will participate in an online counseling session, where seats will be allotted. Upon allotment, candidates are required to deposit the admission fee within the designated window to confirm their seat.

The fee deposit schedule is as follows:

OBC Category: CUET-UG marks between 310-329

Fee deposit window: November 9, 2024 (6:00 PM) to November 13, 2024 (11:55 PM)

EWS Category: CUET-UG marks between 332-346

Fee deposit window: November 9, 2024 (6:00 PM) to November 13, 2024 (11:55 PM)
