University of Allahabad Gets Two New Hostels, Bus Service for Women Introduced

In the current academic session, the University of Allahabad has added two newly constructed hostels to its facilities, with rooms allocated for a total of 192 students. The Gargi Hostel will accommodate 80 female students, while the newly built Shyamji Krishna Varma Hostel, located in Chatam Lines, will house 112 male students.

In addition, the university has introduced a dedicated bus service for female staff, faculty, and students. The buses have already been procured to ensure safe and convenient transportation for women.

Furthermore, 19 faculty members from the University of Allahabad have been recognized among the top 2% of scientists in the world. The list, released by Stanford University, includes over 850,000 scientists globally. The university's faculty members from eight different departments have made it to this prestigious list.

 इस सत्र से इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय को दो नए हॉस्टल मिले हैं। 

दोनों नवनिर्मित छात्रावासों में 192 विद्यार्थियों को कमरे आवंटित किए जाएंगे। 

गार्गी छात्रावास में 80 छात्राओं को कमरे आवंटित किए जाएंगे। वहीं चैथम लाइन स्थित नवनिर्मित श्यामजी कृष्ण वर्मा छात्रावास में 112 छात्रों को कमरे इस बार से आवंटित किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा विवि की महिला कर्मचारियों, शिक्षक एवं छात्राओं के लिए बस सेवा शुरू की जाएगी। इसके लिए बसें खरीद ली गई हैं। 

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के 19 शिक्षकों ने दुनिया के शीर्ष दो फीसदी वैज्ञानिकों में जगह बनाई है। स्टैनफोर्ड विश्वविद्यालय ने हर साल की तरह इस बार भी शीर्ष वैज्ञानिकों की लिस्ट जारी की थी, जिसमें दुनिया भर से 8.5 लाख वैज्ञानिकों को शामिल किया गया है। 

इस सूची में इविवि के आठ विभागों के वैज्ञानिक शामिल हैं।
