UGC NET 2024 Answer Key: How to check provisional key and marking system

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). The answer key will be available on the NTA official website, nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET 2024 Exam

The UGC NET examination for this year took place from August 21 to September 4, 2024. Due to technical issues and natural disasters, the exam was canceled at several centers. These centers subsequently rescheduled the exam to September 4 and 5.

How to Check the UGC NET Answer Key

To access the UGC NET 2024 Answer Key, follow these steps:

Visit the NTA UGC-NET official website at nta.ac.in or ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Look for the link titled “Public Notice Answer Key Challenge UGC – NET June 2024.”

Enter your application number and date of birth.

The answer key will appear on the screen. Download and print it for your records.

Each question carries 02 (two) marks.

For each correct response, candidate will get 02 (two) marks.

There is no negative marking for incorrect response.

No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for Review.

To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.

If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the credit.

If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. Since, there is no negative marking, candidate needs to choose one most appropriate option as correct answer.
