Allahabad University Affiliated SS Khanna Girls' Degree College enters its 50th year

SS Khanna Girls' Degree College, affiliated with Allahabad University, is stepping into its 50th year on Saturday. To mark this significant milestone, a special postal cover and cancellation will be released on Saturday as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. Established in 1975, the college has been a prominent institution in women's education.

Principal Prof. Lalima Singh announced that various events would be organized throughout the year to commemorate the Golden Jubilee. As part of Saturday's celebrations, retired teachers and former principals of the college will be honored. She emphasized the college's crucial role in promoting women's education over the years.

Prof. Singh also shared that several alumni, including Dr. Meenu Agarwal, Dr. Ruchi Malviya, Dr. Jyoti, and Subhra Malviya, have returned to serve as teachers, reflecting the college's lasting impact on its students.

 

एसएस खन्ना कॉलेज आज जारी करेगा विशेष डाक कवर

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से संबद्ध एसएस खन्ना गर्ल्स डिग्री कॉलेज शनिवार को अपने स्थापना के 50वें साल में प्रवेश कर रहा है। इस अवसर पर स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह के उपलक्ष में विशेष डाक आवरण और विरूपण का विमोचन शनिवार को होगा। कॉलेज की स्थापना 1975 में हुई थी।

प्राचार्य प्रो. लालिमा सिंह ने बताया कि गोल्डेन जुबिली वर्ष के अवसर पर पूरे साल कॉलेज में विविध आयोजन किए जाएंगे। शनिवार को कॉलेज में रिटायर शिक्षक और पूर्व प्राचार्य को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। प्राचार्य ने बताया कि कॉलेज की बालिक शिक्षा में भूमिका अहम रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि कॉलेज की पुरा छात्र डॉ. मीनू अग्रवाल, डॉ. रुचि मालवीय, डॉ. ज्योति, शुभ्रा मालवीय वर्तमान में शिक्षक हैं।
