The institution’s primary mission is to impart legal education that promotes awareness and empowers individuals, particularly those from underprivileged sections of society. The judgment writing competition aligns with this mission, aiming to equip students with essential skills that will serve them well in their legal careers.

About the Competition

The Judgment Writing Competition 2024 is designed to challenge students’ drafting skills and their ability to make sound legal decisions based on facts, legal principles, and precedents. The competition encourages participants to take a comprehensive approach to law, requiring them to analyze real-world legal problems and apply relevant legal precedents to arrive at well-reasoned judgments.

Judgment writing is a crucial skill for lawyers, judges, and the legal fraternity at large. A well-drafted judgment not only resolves legal disputes but also serves as a precedent for future cases and contributes to the development of the law. This competition aims to foster these essential skills in participants, who will be judged on their ability to understand complex legal issues, apply relevant laws, and draft coherent, reasoned judgments that reflect a deep understanding of the legal system.

Students from law schools across India are invited to participate in this competition, which promises to be an enriching experience for all involved. The event will allow participants to engage with contemporary legal issues, improve their drafting and analytical skills, and gain valuable insights into the judicial process.
