About the Firm:

Maloo & Co deals primarily with matters before the NCLT, NCLAT, and High Court. As an intern, you will get hands-on exposure to various aspects of legal practice, particularly focusing on IBC, the Companies Act, SARFAESI, and commercial litigation. This experience will provide a valuable platform to develop your skills in these critical areas of law.

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting legal research on case laws and statutes.

- Assisting in drafting pleadings, legal notices, and other documentation.

- Attending and observing court proceedings.

- Assisting with the overall operations of the office, ensuring smooth workflow.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Open to law students currently in the 4th or 5th year of an integrated LLB program or students in the 2nd year of a 3-year LLB program.

- Strong interest in litigation and legal research.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Mode of Internship:

- This is a physical (offline) internship based in the vibrant legal hub of Fort, Mumbai.

Duration:

- 3 months
