Hostel Allocation Begins at Allahabad University PCB Hostel; 14 Students Allotted Rooms on First Day

Allahabad University commenced room allocation at the PCB Hostel on Wednesday, with 14 students from BSc and BCom programs receiving rooms on the first day. Among the allocated students were those from Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh. In the BSc program, six students were from the unreserved category, four from OBC, one from SC, and two from the EWS category. In the BCom program, one student from the unreserved category was allotted a room.

During the allocation process, the admissions committee verified some parents through video calls. Allocation for BA students is scheduled for September 26. The process was overseen by Warden Prof. Harsh Kumar, Superintendent Dr. Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Dr. Gajula Raju, Dr. Vinod Kumar, and Office Superintendent Santosh Singh.
