About the Law Internship Program


The BarErudite is offering an editorial internship for law students to develop and hone their research and editorial abilities. This program is designed specifically to provide hands-on experience in legal content creation, with a strong focus on research, editing, and contributing to educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:


Interns selected for this program will be involved in several important aspects of legal editorial work, including:


Legal Content Creation & Editing:  

  Interns will contribute to the creation and refinement of legal articles, blogs, and educational materials. This involves developing content that is clear, accurate, and informative for readers of various levels of legal knowledge.


In-Depth Legal Research: 

  A significant part of the internship will focus on conducting thorough research on various legal topics. Interns will learn to use legal databases, analyze cases, statutes, and commentaries, and translate that research into valuable written content.

Assistance with Editorial Processes:  

  Interns will be involved in the editorial workflow, assisting in the proofreading, formatting, and finalization of legal content for publication on The BarErudite platform.


Support in Educational Material Development:  

  Interns will assist in creating and editing educational materials that will be utilized for legal training and resources offered by The BarErudite. This may include study guides, presentations, and other educational tools.


Eligibility Criteria

The BarErudite welcomes applications from motivated law students who are eager to contribute to the field of legal education. Eligible students include:

- For 5-year LLB program:  

  1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students.

  For 3-year LLB program: 

  1st and 2nd-year students.

In addition to these academic requirements, applicants should possess:

- Strong writing and research skills.

- A keen interest in legal education and content creation.

  Internship Duration & Details

- Duration: 1 month (October only)

- Date of Joining: 1st October 2024

- Mode: Online

- Location: Remote (with the possibility of in-office work)

- Stipend: Unpaid
