University of Allahabad Releases Second Merit List for B.Com Admissions (2024-25)
Prayagraj, September 2, 2024 — The University of Allahabad has announced the second merit list for admissions to its Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program for the academic session 2024-2025. The admissions are being conducted based on the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG-2024) scores, specifically for registered students.
The merit list has been prepared by considering CUET-UG-2024 scores in three key areas: a language subject (Hindi or English), a domain subject (Accountancy/Book Keeping), and a General Test. Candidates who have not appeared in any of these tests have been assigned zero marks for the respective test.
According to the notice, the seat allotment process will be conducted through online counseling. Candidates who are allotted a seat must deposit the admission fee within the given timeframe to secure their admission. The admission is strictly based on the computed marks and the availability of seats in the respective program.
For the Unreserved (UR) category, the cut-off marks have been set at 389 and above. The fee deposit window for these candidates starts on September 2, 2024, at 6:00 PM and closes on September 4, 2024, at 11:55 PM.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to submit a written undertaking, signed by them and their guardian, confirming their admission to the University of Allahabad by September 6, 2024.
