IAS Mains and CRET 2024 Exam Date Clash: Students Request Change from Allahabad University
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conduct the IAS Mains 2024 examination starting from September 20. The exam is scheduled to take place on September 21, 22, 28, and 29. Meanwhile, Allahabad University has scheduled its Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2024 on September 22.

This clash in exam dates has left many students, who are set to appear for both exams, in a difficult situation. The overlapping dates mean that students would be forced to choose between the two, missing out on one important opportunity.
In response to this issue, a student named Hariom Tripathi has submitted a memorandum to the Director of the Admission Cell, Professor J.K. Pati, requesting a change in the CRET exam date. The students are hopeful that the university will consider their appeal and reschedule the entrance test to avoid any conflicts with the UPSC IAS Mains exam.

2. आईएएस मेंस परीक्षा की तिथियाँ 21, 22, 28, और 29 सितंबर हैं।
3. इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय ने संयुक्त शोध प्रवेश परीक्षा (CRET 2024) की तारीख 22 सितंबर तय की है।
4. छात्रों का कहना है कि कई छात्र दोनों परीक्षाओं में शामिल होंगे।
5. परीक्षा तिथियों के टकराव के कारण छात्र किसी एक परीक्षा से वंचित हो सकते हैं।
6. इसी समस्या को देखते हुए छात्र हरिओम त्रिपाठी ने इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के प्रवेश प्रकोष्ठ के निदेशक प्रो. जेके पति को ज्ञापन सौंपा है।
7. ज्ञापन में उन्होंने CRET परीक्षा की तारीख में परिवर्तन करने की मांग की है।
