Startup Sangam 2024 Concludes at MNNIT

The two-day Startup Sangam 2024 event at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) concluded on Friday. On the final day, the AI Vote’s healthcare-based software became the highlight of the event. Pradeep Gupta, an alumnus of the 1983 batch and a veteran who has served in various positions in the defense services, explained the features of this innovative software. The software, once installed on a mobile device, uses the camera to analyze a person's face and can measure blood pressure, diabetes levels, heart rate, hemoglobin, and stress levels.

Developed by Pradeep Gupta, the Managing Director, and Alok Tiwari, the CEO of AI Vote, this software utilizes Photo Plethysmography (PPG) technology, which measures blood flow beneath the skin and records changes in the skin. By focusing the mobile camera on a person’s face for just one minute, the software can record various health parameters and transmit this data to a server regularly, enabling doctors and family members to monitor health issues. This feature can be crucial for identifying health problems at an early stage, allowing timely treatment. Preliminary tests have shown the software’s accuracy to be around 95%.

Bhanu Pratap Singh, the founder and Managing Director of Cashcry, shared his journey during the event, discussing the challenges faced due to a lack of investment, market competition, and various stages of business development. Despite these challenges, the company achieved a turnover of INR 19 crores through persistence and innovation.
