Allahabad University Set to Inaugurate Gandhian Thought Programme with Prof. Manmohan Krishna as Chief Guest

Special Postgraduate Course on Gandhian Studies to Begin at Allahabad University

For the first time in North India, Allahabad University is introducing a specialized postgraduate course focused on Mahatma Gandhi. This course has been specifically designed with civil service aspirants in mind, offering a comprehensive understanding of Gandhian philosophy and thought. 

The inauguration of this unique programme will take place on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Institute of Gandhian Thought & Peace Studies. Prof. Manmohan Krishna, Chair Professor of NITI Aayog at Allahabad University, will be the chief guest for the event.

All 30 seats for the Master’s programme in Gandhian Thought & Peace Studies have already been filled. Following the inauguration, regular classes for the 2024-25 academic session will commence.
