Allahabad University’s Constituent Colleges Struggle to Fill UG Seats Despite Reaching Out to All Candidates

The constituent colleges of Allahabad University (AU) are facing significant challenges in filling their undergraduate (UG) seats for the academic year. Despite summoning all candidates who appeared in both the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and non-CUET admissions, many seats remain vacant.

Colleges, including Allahabad Degree College (ADC), have called all eligible candidates for counseling sessions in a bid to fill seats in popular courses such as BA, BCom, and BSc. However, even after reaching out to all prospective students, the expected number of admissions has not been realized.

This shortage of candidates is raising concerns within the university administration, as it suggests an enrollment gap that could impact the upcoming academic session. Efforts are being made to address the situation, but the lack of students available for admission is posing a significant challenge for the colleges under AU.

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय (इविवि) के संघटक महाविद्यालयों को स्नातक (यूजी) प्रवेश के लिए अभ्यर्थी नहीं मिल रहे हैं, जबकि कॉलेजों ने सीयूईटी में शामिल और गैर सीयूईटी सभी अभ्यर्थियों को प्रवेश के लिए बुला लिया है। इलाहाबाद डिग्री कॉलेज (एडीसी) में बीए, बीकाॅम और बीएससी में प्रवेश के लिए सीयूईटी में शामिल गैर सीयूईटी सभी अभ्यर्थियों को काउंसलिंग में शामिल होने के लिए बुलाया गया है।
