Academic Session at Allahabad University and Affiliated Colleges Delayed Once Again, Classes for New Entrants from September 30

Allahabad University and its affiliated colleges seem to be falling behind in their academic schedule once again. The university has announced that undergraduate classes for newly admitted students will commence on September 30. The university administration has released the academic calendar for the 2024-25 session to regulate the new session.

According to the calendar, annual examinations for undergraduate students are proposed to begin on April 1, 2025. In previous years, when the admission process was completed by August 15, the annual exams usually started in March. However, the academic session has been disrupted since 2021-22 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the introduction of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) has prevented the academic session from returning to its usual schedule.

As per the academic calendar, undergraduate classes for first-year students will begin on September 30, while second-year classes have been running since July 9. Third and fourth-year classes started on July 22. The exams for second, third, and fourth-year students are scheduled to start on March 3, 2025, while first-year exams will commence on April 1, 2025.

For courses conducted under the New Education Policy, the mid-semester examination for the first semester is scheduled from November 18 to 23, and the T-2 test is expected between December 16 and 20. The semester examination will likely take place between January 6 and 11, 2025. Classes for the second semester are set to begin on January 13, 2025.

Courses conducted under the National Education Policy for the third, fifth, seventh, and ninth semesters have classes that began on August 1. First-semester classes will start on September 30. The odd semester exams for the third, fifth, seventh, and ninth semesters are scheduled between December 2 and 20. Classes for the even semesters—fourth, sixth, eighth, and tenth—will commence on January 2, 2025, with exams scheduled from April 21 to May 10, 2025.

This schedule aims to bring the academic session back on track, aligning it with the National Education Policy guidelines.

 

फिर पिछड़ा सत्र, यूजी नवप्रवेशियों की परीक्षाएं एक अप्रैल से

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय एवं संबद्ध कॉलेजों में एक बार फिर शैक्षिक सत्र पिछड़ता नजर आ रहा है। स्नातक के नवप्रवेशियों की कक्षाएं 30 सितंबर से चलेंगी। नए सत्र के संचालन के लिए इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने शैक्षिक सत्र 2024-25 के लिए एकेडमिक कैलेंडर जारी कर दिया है। कैलेंडर के अनुसार स्नातक की वार्षिक परीक्षाएं एक अप्रैल 2025 से प्रस्तावित की गई हैं। विश्वविद्यालय एवं कॉलेजों में जब 15 अगस्त तक प्रवेश प्रक्रिया पूरी हो जाती थी तब वार्षिक परीक्षाएं मार्च से शुरू होती थी। लेकिन शैक्षिक सत्र 2021-22 से कोरोना के चलते सत्र प्रभावित हुआ। इसके बाद से अब तक कॉमन यूनिवर्सिटी इंट्रेंस टेस्ट (सीयूईटी) के चलते सत्र पटरी पर नहीं आ सका।

एकेडमिक कैलेंडर के अनुसार, स्नातक की कक्षाएं 30 सितंबर से शुरू होंगी। द्वितीय वर्ष की कक्षाएं नौ जुलाई से शुरू हैं। तृतीय एवं चतुर्थ की कक्षाएं 22 जुलाई से शुरू हैं। द्वितीय, तृतीय और चौथे साल की परीक्षा तीन मार्च 2025 से प्रस्तावित है। स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की परीक्षाएं एक अप्रैल से होंगी। नई शिक्षा नीति के तहत संचालित किए जा रहे पाठ्यक्रमों के प्रथम सेमेस्टर की मिड सेमेस्टर परीक्षा 18 से 23 नवंबर के मध्य होगी। टी-टू टेस्ट 16 से 20 दिसंबर से मध्य प्रस्तावित है। सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा छह से 11 जनवरी 2025 के मध्य संभावित है। द्वितीय सेमेस्टर की कक्षाएं 13 जनवरी 2025 से शुरू होगी।

सेमेस्टर प्रणाली का कार्यक्रम

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के अनुरूप संचालित होने वाले पाठ्यक्रमों में तृतीय, पंचम, सप्तम और नौवम सेमेस्टर की कक्षाएं एक अगस्त से शुरू हैं। प्रथम सेमेस्टर की कक्षाएं 30 सितंबर से शुरू होंगी। तृतीय, पंचम, सप्तम और नौवम सेमेस्टर (विषम) की परीक्षा दो से 20 दिसंबर के मध्य प्रस्तावित है। चतुर्थ, छठवां, आठवां और 10वां सेमेस्टर (सम) की कक्षाएं दो जनवरी से 2025 से चलेंगी। द्वितीय, चतुर्थ, छठवां, आठवां और 10वां सेमेस्टर (सम) की परीक्षाएं 21 अप्रैल से 10 मई के मध्य प्रस्तावित हैं।
