Prayagraj, 3rd August 2024: The University of Allahabad has issued an important notice for candidates applying to its undergraduate programs through the CUET-UG 2024. Applicants who registered in Phase 1 are being provided with a one-time opportunity to modify their application forms. This option allows candidates to update their profiles before proceeding to Phase 2 of the application process.

To access this feature, candidates must log into the student portal and select the "Open Profile" option. This will unlock their profiles, enabling them to make necessary corrections to the information submitted during Phase 1. Following this update, applicants can move forward to course selection and pay the registration fees.

The notice emphasizes that the registration will only be considered complete upon the realization of the registration fee. Additionally, the university clarifies that this correction window is a one-time opportunity. No further modifications will be allowed after the fee payment and final submission.

Candidates are urged to carefully review their application forms for any errors and use this chance to rectify them. The snapshot of the student portal provided in the notice illustrates the location of the "Open Profile" option.

Phase-1: Registration/Profile Update

The registration and profile update can be done from July 6, 2024, to July 20, 2024. Then extended 30th July 2024.

Now date has been Extended. Registration/Profile updates can be completed up to 5 August 2024.

Applicants are required to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by the University of Allahabad and must have the following documents ready

1. CUET-UG (2024) Admit Card: This is mandatory for the registration process.

2. Class 10 and 10+2 Marksheet cum Certificate Both the marksheet and certificate are required.

3. Photo and Signature: These must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.

4. Recent Caste Certificate: For applicants from EWS/OBC/SC/ST categories, the certificate should be in the Central Government format, bearing certificate numbers and issuance date.

Applicants must ensure that all information is entered correctly on the portal. Note that registration is only available for those who appeared in CUET-UG (2024).

Phase-2: Programme Selection and Payment of Registration Fee

Following the declaration of CUET-UG (2024) results:

- Applicants can select their desired course(s) or programme on the portal.

- A registration fee is applicable:

- ₹300 for UR/OBC/EWS categories

- ₹150 for SC/ST/PwD categories

- The fee is charged for each course/programme selected.

Applicants must complete the registration/update their profile and pay the registration fee after programme/course selection to be considered for the counseling process. The university will announce the dates for course/programme selection and payment of the registration fee separately.
