UGC NET 2024: UGC NET Exam 2024 will start from Tomorrow, Read the Guidelines Here

UGC NET EXAM 2024 Guidelines: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC NET Exam 2024 across the country from tomorrow 21 August 2204 to 4 September 2024. Earlier, UGC NET exam was conducted across the country on 18 June in offline medium pen-paper mode. UGC NET re-exam will be conducted with the help of online medium CBT mode. Let us tell you that more than 9 lakh candidates had registered for UGC NET June Exam 2024. There are many guidelines for tomorrow's exam which candidates must follow.

Guidelines for UGC NET 2024-

1. Candidates must carry a print copy of the admit card with them.

2. Candidates must carry their passport size photograph.

3. If you have applied under PWD category, then carry your PWD certificate with you.

4. Candidates must reach the exam center 2 hours before the start of the exam. Security checking will stop 30 minutes before the exam.

5. After the examination hall opens, the candidates should take their seats as quickly as possible so that they do not miss any instructions given by the invigilator.

6. Candidates must sit on the seats allotted to them. If this is not done, the candidate may miss the exam and the exam may be cancelled.

7. Candidates will have to show a copy of their admit card for verification.

8. All the candidates should check all the subjects in the question paper carefully and if the subjects are different from what they have filled in the application form then they should inform the invigilator.

9. If a candidate misses the exam then that candidate will not be allowed to take the exam again.

10. Candidates are advised not to carry any items with them which are inappropriate in the examination.

11. Strict action will be taken against any candidate for inappropriate behavior with any NTA employee or candidate.

12. Talking to other candidates is not allowed during exam time or shift.

UGC NET June 2024: Reporting Time

Candidates are advised to report to the exam center two hours before the start of the exam to avoid any issues. This will allow sufficient time for security checks and registration formalities to be completed. Please note that the registration desk will close 30 minutes before the exam begins, so it's crucial to arrive early.

UGC NET exam of 26 August postponed

The UGC NET exam will be conducted between August 21 and September 4. The UGC NET exam scheduled to be held on August 26 has been postponed due to Krishna Janmashtami. UGC had given this information on August 2 itself. The UGC NET exam will be conducted in two shifts every day in CBT mode. The first shift exam will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

How to Download the UGC NET Admit Card 2024?

Go to the official UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Click on the “UGC NET 2024 Admit Card” link, which can be found in the “Latest News” section on the homepage.

Enter your login credentials, including your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN.

Press the “Submit” button.

Your admit card will be displayed. Now
