NTA Releases UGC NET June 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip : August 27, 2024

 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advance intimation slip for the allotment of exam cities for the UGC NET June 2024 examination. The examination, which will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, is scheduled to take place across various cities from August 21, 2024, to September 4, 2024. The UGC NET June 2024 will cover 83 subjects.

Candidates can now check and download their exam city intimation slips from the official UGC NET website ([ugcnet.nta.ac.in](https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in)) by entering their application number and date of birth. The NTA emphasized that this is not the admit card but only an advance notice of the city where the candidate's examination center is located. The admit cards will be released at a later date.

The UGC NET June 2024 exam for different subjects will be conducted in two shifts: Shift I from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM & Shift II from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. 

For instance, on August 27, 2024, subjects such as Philosophy and Hindi will be tested in Shift I, while other languages including Hindi (for another set of candidates), Oriya, Manipuri, and Assamese are scheduled for Shift II.

- The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be held in two shifts daily:

  - Shift I: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  - Shift II: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

- On August 27, 2024, the following subjects will be conducted:

  - Shift I: 

    - Philosophy

    - Hindi

  - Shift II:

    - Hindi (for another group of candidates)

    - Oriya

    - Manipuri

    - Assamese

    - Santali
