Allahabad University to Close on August 23 and 30 Due to Constable Recruitment Re-Examination

Prayagraj, August 14, 2024 – Allahabad University will remain closed on August 23 and 30 due to the constable recruitment re-examination, according to an official announcement made by Registrar Prof. N.K. Shukla on Wednesday. 

The re-examination is scheduled to take place on August 23, 24, 25, and 30. Since August 23 and 30 are working days, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sangeeta Shrivastava, has decided to keep the university closed on these days to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the examination.

In exchange for these closures, the university will remain open on September 7 and 14, both Saturdays, to compensate for the missed working days.

सिपाही भर्ती पुनर्परीक्षा के कारण इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय 23 और 30 अगस्त को बंद रहेगा।

 कुलसचिव प्रो. एनके शुक्ला की ओर से बुधवार को जारी सूचना के अनुसार 23, 24, 25 व 30 अगस्त को प्रस्तावित पुनर्परीक्षा में दो दिन 23 व 30 अगस्त कार्यदिवस होने के कारण कुलपति प्रो. संगीता श्रीवास्तव ने विश्वविद्यालय बंद रखने का निर्णय लिया है, ताकि परीक्षा सकुशल एवं निर्विघ्न संपन्न हो सके।

 इसके एवज में सात और 14 सितंबर (दोनों शनिवार) को विश्वविद्यालय खुला रहेगा।
