Allahabad University Secures NIRF Ranking in Engineering and Management

 

Prayagraj: Allahabad University, Prayagraj, has been ranked in the 201-300 category for Engineering and the 101-125 category for Management in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). This achievement has brought a wave of joy to the university community.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava congratulated the university family on this accomplishment, describing it as a harbinger of a promising future. She reaffirmed the university's commitment to reaching the pinnacle of academic excellence.

Prof. Srivastava noted that the 2024 NIRF rankings were based on 2023 data. She acknowledged that the student-teacher ratio had a significant impact on the overall ranking, leading to results that were below expectations. However, she emphasized that recent faculty appointments over the past two years have improved this ratio, and she is confident that the university will enhance its rankings in all categories, including the overall ranking, in the near future. The university is dedicated to excelling in all NIRF parameters.

NIRF Ranking Criteria

The NIRF ranks educational institutions based on five key parameters: Teaching, Learning & Resources; Research and Professional Practices; Graduation Outcomes; Outreach and Inclusivity; and Perception from Academic Peers and Employers. These criteria are the foundation for the annual rankings.

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय को एनआईआरएफ की Engineering 201-300 तथा Management 101-125 श्रेणी में रैंकिंग

प्रयागराज : इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय, प्रयागराज को राष्ट्रीय संस्थागत रैंकिंग फ्रेमवर्क (एनआईआरएफ) की Engineering 201-300 तथा Management 101-125 रैंकिंग मिली है। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय की इस उपलब्धि से हर्ष का माहौल है। विश्वविद्यालय की कुलपति प्रो. संगीता श्रीवास्तव ने विश्वविद्यालय की इस उपलब्धि पर विश्वविद्यालय परिवार को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि ये आने वाले स्वर्णिम भविष्य की दस्तक है। हम अपने प्रयास से  इसको सर्वोच्च शिखर तक ले जाने के लिए कटिबद्ध हैं।

कुलपति प्रो. संगीता श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि एनआईआएफ की ओर से जारी वर्ष 2024 की रैंकिंग में 2023 के आंकड़ों को आधार माना गया है। इसमें शिक्षक-विद्यार्थी अनुपात बहुत ज्यादा होने के कारण ओवरऑल रेंकिंग में अपेक्षा अनुसार परिणाम नहीं आया है। लेकिन पिछले दो वर्षों में हुई नियुक्तियों से इस अनुपात में और सुधार आया है। हमें विश्वास है कि आने वाले समय यह विश्वविद्यालय प्रत्येक वर्ग एवं ओवरऑल  रैंकिंग सुधारने में मदद करेगा। हम एनआईआरएफ के सभी मापदंडों पर बेहतरीन करने का प्रयास करेंगे। 

ये हैं रैंकिंग के मापदंड

राष्ट्रीय संस्थागत रैंकिंग फ्रेमवर्क एनआईआरएफ की ओर से जारी रैंकिंग में पांच मापदंडों पर शिक्षा संस्थानों को मापा जाता है। इसके आधार पर ही प्रतिवर्ष रैंकिंग जारी की जाती है। ये मापदंड हैं, शिक्षण, अध्ययन और संसाधन, शोध और व्यवसायिक अभ्यास, शैक्षणिक परिणाम, आउटरीज एवं समावेशिता और एकेडमिक पियर और रोजगार दाता की धारणा।
