Allahabad University: Document Verification Schedule Announced for French Certificate Course

The Department of English and Modern European Languages at the University of Allahabad (AU) has announced the document verification schedule for candidates seeking admission to the Certificate Course in French for the academic year 2024-25. 

Candidates are required to report to the departmental library with a duly filled application form, relevant attachments, and original documents along with attested photocopies. Documents include the 12th mark sheet, caste certificate, latest university fee receipt, valid university ID card, Aadhaar card, and three colored passport-sized photographs. 

Document verification for General category candidates will take place on 27th August from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. For candidates belonging to EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories, document verification is scheduled for 28th and 29th August from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The cut-off marks for different categories are as follows:

1. General + PwD: 99.5% to 88%

2. EWS: 87.8% to 80%

3. OBC: 87.4% to 75.8%

4. SC: 87% to 61%

5. ST: 83.7% to 60%

Candidates must note that document verification does not guarantee admission. Additionally, PwD candidates, irrespective of their category, are required to report for document verification on 27th August. 

Late submissions will not be entertained.
