Allahabad University: UG Admission Merit List Expected to be Released Today or Tomorrow

On Tuesday, the Admission Cell of Allahabad University approved admissions for undergraduate courses for the 2024-25 academic session. Coordinators participated in two phases of meetings, during which admissions were confirmed to commence on August 29 or 30.

The Admission Cell presented the entire admission process, from counseling to the Samarth portal, to all coordinators. Initial admissions will target courses with fewer seats, with the merit list for these programs expected to be released on Wednesday. Coordinators have already received the merit lists for their respective courses.

In the first phase of meetings, which began at 2 PM, coordinators for BCom, BA LLB, BSc Home Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA), Institute of Professional Studies (IPS), BBA-MBA five-year programs, and Disaster Management five-year programs were consulted. A subsequent meeting with BA and BSc coordinators took place at 3 PM.

Students will have 24 hours after the release of the merit list to complete their online fee payments. So far, 40,309 students have registered online for admission to 6,860 seats across more than fifteen undergraduate courses at the Allahabad University campus.

 The key points:-

1. Coordinator Meetings: Two-phase meetings with coordinators were held regarding admissions.

2. Admission Dates: Admissions will start from August 29 or 30.

3. Presentation: The Admissions Cell provided a presentation on the counseling and admission process through the Samarth Portal.

4. Phase One: Admissions will begin for courses with fewer seats. The merit list for these courses may be released on Wednesday.

5. Merit List Distribution: The merit list for relevant courses has been handed to the coordinators.

6. Scheduled Meetings: 

   - 2 PM: Meeting with coordinators for B.Com, BA LLB, B.Sc Home Science, BFA, BPA, IPS, BBA-MBA (five-year program), and Disaster Management (five-year program).

   - 3 PM: Meeting with coordinators for BA and B.Sc admissions.

7. Fee Payment: Students will be able to pay the online fee within 24 hours of the merit list release.

8. Registration Data: Over 40,309 students have registered online for admission to 6,860 seats across more than fifteen undergraduate courses at the university campus.

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के शैक्षिक सत्र 2024-25 में स्नातक पाठ्यक्रमों में दाखिले के लिए प्रवेश प्रकोष्ठ ने मंगलवार को मंजूरी दे दी। कोऑडिनेटरों की दो चरणों में बैठक हुई। जिसमें 29 या 30 अगस्त से प्रवेश लिए जाने पर मुहर लगी। प्रवेश प्रकोष्ठ ने सभी कोऑडिनेटर को समर्थ पोर्टल पर काउंसिलिंग से लेकर प्रवेश प्रक्रिया का प्रजेंटेशन दिया। 

पहले चरण में कम सीट वाले पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रवेश शुरू होगा। इसके लिए बुधवार को मेरिट जारी हो सकती है। प्रवेश प्रकोष्ठ ने संबंधित पाठ्यक्रम की मेरिट कोऑडिनेटर को सौंप दी है। 

पहले चरण में दोपहर दो बजे से बीकॉम, बीएएलएलबी, बीएससी होम साइंस, बैचलर ऑफ फाइन आर्ट्स (बीएफए), बैचलर ऑफ परफॉर्मिंग आर्ट (बीपीए)इंस्टीट्यट ऑफ प्रोफेशनल स्टडीज (आईपीएस), बीबीए-एमबीए पांच वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रम, अपदा प्रबंधन पांच वर्षीय पाठ्यक्रमों के कोऑडिनेटरों के संग बैठक हुई। इसके बाद तीन बजे से बीए, बीएससी के कोऑडिनेटर के साथ प्रवेश को लेकर बैठक हुई। 

मेरिट जारी होने के 24 घंटे के भीतर विद्यार्थी ऑनलाइन फीस जमा कर सकेंगे।

 इविवि कैंपस में स्नातक के पंद्रह से अधिक पाठ्यक्रमों में 6860 सीटों पर 40,309 विद्यार्थियों ने प्रवेश के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण किया है।
