The University of Allahabad is expanding its prestigious BALLB (Hons.) program to Arya Kanya Degree College, which has recently received approval from the Bar Council of India to admit 120 students. This move aims to benefit students aspiring to enroll in the five-year integrated law course offered by the university.
BALLB (Hons.) at the University of Allahabad is renowned for its excellent track record in producing successful candidates for the Provincial Civil Services - Judicial (PCS-J) and Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) examinations. In the latest UP PCS-J results, more than 65 students from the university were selected, including Nishi Gupta (AIR 1), Shishir Yadav (Rank 2), and Jahnvi Verma (Rank 5). Additionally, Sristi Baniyal secured Rank 2 in the Uttarakhand PCS-J Examinations announced last month. These achievements highlight the program’s strong reputation in the legal field.
Arya Kanya Degree College officials confirmed that admissions for the BALLB (Hons.) course will commence this year, with all necessary preparations completed. The college has appointed six faculty members to teach the new course. Admissions will be based on the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET-UG) scores.
