UGC NET 2024: UGC NET Re Exam Date Out at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

UGC NET 2024: The UGC NET 2024 examination is scheduled to be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 21st August to 4th September, 2024. The UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip will be made available on the official website shortly by the authorities. The previous date of the NTA UGC NET exam was 18th June 2024. On 19th June 2024, the University Grants Commission cancelled the UGC NET 2024 June cycle exam. The National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided UGC with some input regarding the examination, which is why it was cancelled. These inputs seem to suggest that there may have been a breach in the integrity of the previously mentioned examination.

The purpose of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), also known as the NTA UGC NET, is to evaluate applicants for Assistant Professor positions alone or for positions that combine Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) at Indian universities and colleges. The test is administered nationally. In two shifts, the UGC NET will be administered to 83 subjects in total.
