In a recent announcement, Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad Degree College (CMP), a constituent college of Allahabad University, has opened registration for undergraduate students who missed the Common University Admission Test (CUET) but wish to enroll in undergraduate courses for the academic session 2024-25. The registration process is now available for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.C.A., and B.C.A.+M.C.A. (Data Science) programs, subject to the availability of seats after accommodating CUET candidates.

Non-CUET applicants can register by following these steps:

CMP Degree College, along with other constituent colleges of Allahabad University, has been granted autonomy to independently register students for undergraduate courses. This decision aims to fill seats left vacant after CUET admissions, providing more students with access to educational opportunities.
Meeting on Undergraduate Admissions:
A recent meeting between AU officials and the principals of its constituent colleges discussed the undergraduate admissions process. It was decided that registration for Non-CUET students would commence without waiting for CUET results, which are delayed. This autonomy ensures that constituent colleges can begin online registrations immediately.

Non-CUET applicants will be considered for admission only if seats remain vacant after admitting CUET candidates. This measure ensures that more students can access educational opportunities while maintaining priority for CUET applicants.
Important Update on Registration Process at Main Campus of Allahabad University:
The University of Allahabad will start its admissions process once the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results are released. After discrepancies were found in the NEET-UG and UGC-NET examinations, the National Testing Agency is rechecking the copies of students who participated in the CUET-UG. This year, the University of Allahabad will manage admissions through the Samarth Portal. However, as the NTA is delaying the result, the session for Allahabad University and other universities may also be delayed.
