NTA Delays CUET UG 2024 Results, Pushing Allahabad University Undergraduate Sessions to September October
Due to the delay in the results of the Central University Entrance Test (CUET), the first year undergraduate session in Allahabad University (AU) and constituent colleges will be delayed by at least two months. In such a situation, AU may have to cut down the syllabus to bring the session back on track.
So far, more than 40 thousand candidates have registered for undergraduate admission in AU.
Delays in Undergraduate Sessions Due to NTA-Conducted Entrance Exams
Before taking admission through CUET, when Allahabad University used to conduct the undergraduate entrance examination at its own level, the admission process used to be completed on time and the first year undergraduate classes used to start from July. Ever since the responsibility of conducting the entrance examination has been given to the National Testing Agency (NTA), the undergraduate session in the university is constantly lagging behind.
NTA Delays Impacting Timely Commencement of Undergraduate Sessions
NTA has not released the result of CUET till now. Even if the result is released by the end of July or early August, it will take one month to complete the admission process and in such a situation the classes will be able to start only in September. In such a situation, the graduation session in the university and constituent colleges will be delayed by at least two months.
The process of online registration for the candidates who have appeared in CUET for undergraduate admission in IVV is going on but till the result is not declared, counseling for admission in University of Allahabad cannot be started. By 4:30 pm on Tuesday, 40798 candidates had registered themselves for admission in Allahabad University.
The last date for registration is 30 July.
कम से कम दो माह पिछड़ जाएगा स्नातक का सत्र
सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी एंट्रेंस टेस्ट (सीयूईटी) के परिणाम में विलंब होने के कारण इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय (इविवि) एवं संघटक महविद्यालयों में स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष का सत्र कम से कम दो माह पिछड़ जाएगा। ऐसे में इविवि को सत्र को पटरी पर लाने के लिए पाठ्यक्रम में कटौती करनी पड़ सकती है। इविवि में स्नातक प्रवेश के लिए अब तक 40 हजार से अधिक अभ्यर्थी पंजीकरण करा चुके हैं।
एनटीए द्वारा आयोजित प्रवेश परीक्षाओं के कारण विश्वविद्यालय में स्नातक सत्र में हो रही देरी
सीयूईटी के माध्यम से दाखिले लेने से पहले इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय जब अपने स्तर से स्नातक की प्रवेश परीक्षा आयोजित करता था, तब प्रवेश प्रक्रिया समय से पूरी हो जाया करती थी और जुलाई से स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की कक्षाओं का संचालन भी शुरू कर दिया जाता था। जब से प्रवेश परीक्षा के आयोजन की जिम्मेदारी नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (एनटीए) को मिली है, विश्वविद्यालय में स्नातक का सत्र लगातार पिछड़ रहा है।
एनटीए ने अब तक सीयूईटी का परिणाम जारी नहीं किया है। अगर जुलाई के अंत तक या अगस्त की शुरुआत में भी परिणाम जारी कर दिया जाता है तो प्रवेश प्रक्रिया को पूरा करने में एक माह का वक्त लगेगा और ऐसे में कक्षाएं सितंबर में ही शुरू हो सकेंगी। ऐसे में विश्वविद्यालय और संघटक महाविद्यालयाें में स्नातक का सत्र कम से कम दो माह पिछड़ जाएगा।
इविवि में स्नातक प्रवेश के लिए सीयूईटी में शामिल अभ्यर्थियों के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया चल रही है लेकिन जब तक परिणाम घोषित नहीं होता, तब तक इविवि में प्रवेश के लिए काउंसलिंग शुरू नहीं कराई जा सकती। इविवि में दाखिले के लिए मंगलवार शाम 4:30 बजे तक 40798 अभ्यर्थी अपना पंजीकरण करा चुके थे। पंजीकरण की अंतिम तिथि 30 जुलाई निर्धारित है।
