The Commerce Department of Allahabad University has got 19 new teachers. The envelopes were opened in the online working council meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava on Friday. One Professor, four Associate Professors and 14 Assistant Professors have been appointed in this. Nine NFS (Not Found Suitable) have been declared against 28 posts of teachers in the department. Two out of three Professor posts, three out of seven Associate Professor posts and four out of 18 Assistant Professor posts have been declared NFS.
So far, 335 teachers have been appointed in different departments of the University. This has strengthened the teaching environment. The teacher-student ratio has improved and the university is moving strongly towards better ranking.
Gyanendra Bahadur Singh Johri has been selected for the post of Professor, Dr. Ekta Verma, Sefali Nandan, Anand Singh, Amit Mangalani for the post of Associate Professor and M Basuvaraj, Alok Aggarwal, Kumar Saurabh, Komal Raghav, Ankur Saxena, Anand Shankar Paswan, Ritika Maurya, Honey Gupta, Piyush Gupta, Ajay Singh Yadav, Anubhav Vishwakarma, Shrujan Anant, Pradeep Kumar Srivastava and Shrutika Mishra have been selected for the post of Assistant Professor in PWD.
