IGNOU July Admissions 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration period for new ODL and online program admissions to July 2024. The previously scheduled June 30 deadline for online applications has been extended to July 31.
The institution announced this extension on X, its official social media channel (previously known as Twitter). Those who have not yet applied for IGNOU’s new ODL and online courses can do so by visiting ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official admissions portal.

The eligibility criteria for IGNOU July Admissions 2024 are mentioned below:
Students who wish to apply to IGNOU’s undergraduate program must have completed their class 12 coursework with at least 50% of the possible points from any accredited educational board.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points is required for admission to postgraduate, or PG, programs.
Candidates for diploma or certificate programs must have completed class 12 from an accredited board.
For all courses, except for PhD, Bed, and PBScN, admissions will be determined by the merit list.
Application Fee for IGNOU July Admissions 2024:
A registration fee of Rs.300 must be deposited by all candidates applying to IGNOU’s UG, PG, or Diploma programs. According to the official notification from IGNOU, “If the request for cancellation is received after the confirmation of admission, an amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs.2000, will be deducted from the fee paid.”
