Delay in CUET UG Result, why are students getting confused, parents said-where will the children go if admission in big institutes is closed

CUET UG Result 2024: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024) results have not yet been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Aspiring students for admission to central universities, including Delhi University, are anxiously awaiting the CUET cutoff. Although NTA has not yet released the official cut-off lists, candidates can review the cut-offs from prior years to get a sense of college requirements.

In hybrid mode, the CUET UG 2024 was held from 15th May to 31st May. The preliminary and final answer keys have been released by NTA, however the results are still pending. Fifteen participants took the CUET exam using pen and paper, while the other forty-eight subjects took the exam using computer-based testing (CBT).

Students and parents are in a dilemma due to the delay in the result of Combined University Entrance Test (CUET) UG. Everyone is worried whether to apply in outside educational institutions or not. Because they feel that if the CUET score is low, the money will be wasted. Students say that the application date in big universities is ending. In such a situation, if the form is just filled and later the CUET score is low, then money will be wasted. Here, the application date in many private universities has ended and classes have also started.

At the same time, the parents are worried that when they made their child take CUET, cities like Delhi and Bangalore were in the choices for many new courses, but the results have not been released yet and the application deadline for those institutes is ending. In such a situation, how right will it be to apply without knowing the CUET score.

Another reason for the confusion among students and parents is that many of the institutes to which they are applying are also taking admissions at their own level. Students who gave CUET say that when admission is to be done through a combined exam, then universities and colleges should not prepare their own merit lists. If this is happening, then there is no justification for CUET.

Sunita Pandey said, the result of CUET exam was to come by June 30. Now the exam is being conducted again. In such a situation, if admission in many big institutes is closed, then where will the children go. Manibhushan said, I have applied for my son's admission in a private university. There is a delay in the result of CUET.

CUJ admission cell director Dr GP Singh said, only after the results can it be said how much the session will be delayed. Students need not panic. Doranda College principal Dr Rajkumar Sharma said, admission in regular courses is being done on the basis of intermediate. Students who have appeared in CUET are worried that due to the delay they may be deprived of admission in their favourite college.

Worry About Re-exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced a re-examination for students who challenged the answer key. It will be held on July 19. Student Aman Kumar said that there should be no re-examination. If those who take the exam again score well, others will suffer.

Aman said, CUET result is not being released and the application date for DU will end. In such a situation, you will not be able to apply. Admission in many private colleges in Ranchi has also been closed. Manasvi said, I have given CUET for DU and BHU. There is a problem due to the delay in the session.
