CUET UG Result 2024: CUET UG Result 2024 is Likely to be Declare Soon; Key Information Inside

CUET UG Result 2024: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG Answer Key 2024 is scheduled to be available soon. Candidates can download it at exams.nta.ac.in, the official website, once it is released. It was anticipated that the admission exam results would be announced by 30th June.

Although the entrance exam results were supposed to be announced by 30th June, this will not happen because the answer key has not yet been made available.

The NTA will also provide applicants with a window of time to voice any issues they may have when the answer key is made public. Question papers and candidate answers will be made available, together with the Answer Key.

The CUET Undergraduate Examination 2024 took place in a hybrid format over 08 days, from 15th May to 29th May 2024. Nonetheless, the CUET UG 2024 result date is anticipated to be announced provisionally 10 days following the publication of the provisional key due to the delay in the answer key’s release. It is expected that the ongoing NEET UG paper leak situation is the reason for the delay in the announcement of the CUET UG results.

How is the CUET Result Score calculated?

The CUET 2024 exam scoring methodology, which is used to determine scores and marks, has been made public by NTA. NTA will use the CUET UG normalization method following the computation of the raw scores.

Five points (+5) will be awarded for each right response or the most appropriate response.

One mark (-1) will be deducted for each incorrectly marked option.

There will be no mark for questions that are unanswered or marked for review (0).

Only individuals who have marked any of the correct options will receive five marks (+5) if more than one option is determined to be accurate.

All participants who attempted the question will receive five marks (+5) if it is determined that all of the options are accurate.

All candidates who attempted the dropped question will receive five (+5) marks if none of the answers are determined to be accurate, a question is determined to be incorrect, or the question is dropped.

Marks Vs Percentile for CUET 2024:

CUET marks and CUET percentile are two different metrics that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) uses to assess a candidate’s performance. A candidate’s overall score determined by the exam’s marking system is referred to as their CUET marks. Conversely, the CUET percentile indicates how well a candidate performed in relation to other candidates in both the same and different exam sessions. Admission to CUET-accepting colleges is determined by the candidate’s normalized score or CUET percentile.

What is the formula for CUET Percentile Score?

The CUET percentile score is determined by NTA using the following formula following the normalization process:

100 * (number of applicants with a raw score that is equal to or lower than) / (total number of candidates) is the percentile.

Your percentile, for instance, would be 10% if there were 1000 candidates in a session and 100 of them had raw scores that were either equal to or lower than yours.

The percentile indicates how you performed in comparison to the other applicants who took the CUET UG. It considers the exam’s difficulty as well as the performance of other applicants, making it a more accurate indicator of your performance than your raw score.
