CUET UG 2024: NTA To Conduct CUET UG 2024 RE-EXAM Soon On These Dates

 


CUET UG 2024 RE-EXAM: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon organise the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 re-examination for affected candidates at selected centres between 15th and 19th July 2024, if will finds that the complaints raised regarding the CUET UG 2024 were genuine (As stated in the official notification). Soon the authority will release the re-examination Admit Cards based on the exam dates. It is being said the CUET UG 2024 Re-exam will be conducted in online mode i.e., CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.

If candidates have questions regarding the CUET UG 2024, can contact the helpline number of NTA at 011-40759000 or send an email to cuet-ug@nta.ac.in. NTA said officially, “If the grievance is genuine, the NTA is committed to redoing the exam for these Candidates at selected Centres any day between 15 to 19 July 2024”. Recently NTA released the CUET UG 2024 Provisional Answer Key. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against it till July 9, 2024, 5 PM by simply submitting a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per objection raised. Along with the answer key, NTA released some additional details officially on July 7, 2024, they are the Question Paper and Scanned Images of OMR Sheets with Recorded Responses for the Answer Key Challenge for Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2024.

“Display of Provisional Answer Keys, Question Paper, and Scanned Images of OMR Sheets with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge for Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2024.”

This year, NTA administered the CUET (UG) – 2024 Examination in hybrid format i.e., both offline (Pen and Paper) and online (Computer-Based Test-CBT) between May 15 to 29, 2024 across 379 cities in India, including 26 international locations. This year approximately 14,90,293 candidates registered for the CUET UG 2024 examination among which 9,68,201 candidates appeared, 6,60,311 were female candidates and 7 were transgenders. It is being said that this year a total of 261 universities will accept admissions based on CUET UG 2024 results in their undergraduate programmes.

CUET UG 2024 RE-EXAM: Admit Cards

The CUET UG 2024 Re-exam admit cards will be released 3-4 days before the official announcement of the Re-exam. The admit cards will be made available to the candidates on the official website of NTA, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. To access the CUET UG 2024 Re-exam Admit Cards, candidates will need to log in using credentials such as Application Number, Password and Date of Birth.

CUET UG 2024 Re-exam: Answer Key

The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the CUET UG 2024 Provisional Answer Key yesterday i.e., July 7, 2024, on its official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. Authority has also updated the CUET UG 2024 response sheet along with the answer key which can be accessed via the same website. Candidates can calculate their CUET UG 2024 probable scores using the answer key and response sheet. Also, if candidates feel any dispencies regarding the answer key, can submit objections against the answer key by paying a fee of Rs. 200 per objection. The CUET UG 2024 objection window is open till July 9, 2024.

The National Testing Agency conducted the CUET (UG) – 2024 Examination in Hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) Mode on 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 May 2024 at various Examination Centers located in 379 cities including 26 cities outside India, for about 13.48 lacs candidates, as per the following schedule:

Examination:

i. For Computer Based Test (CBT), the Question Papers with Recorded Responses.

ii. For Pen & Paper Exam (OMR-based), Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet, and Recorded Responses.

To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet shall be sent to the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online

Application Form of CUET (UG) – 2024.

Candidates are being given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated below. Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged.

The payment of the processing fee may be made through a debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking up to 09 July 2024 (up to 06:00 P.M.).

No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.The Challenges will not be accepted through any other medium.

The detailed information along with the procedure for the challenge of the Answer Key for Computer Based Test (CBT) is at Annexure 1 and for Pen & Paper (Offline) is at Annexure 2.

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.

The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 09 July 2024 (up to 05:00 P.M.).

Challenges accepted against any Answer Key will be applicable to all candidates who would have attempted the corresponding Question.

In case you are not able to view your OMR/Recorded responses you may e-mail your grievances to rescuetug@nta.ac.in with your Application Number, Candidate Name, and Subject Code and Subject Name. Only those grievances which are received before 05:00 P.M. on 09 July 2024 will be considered.

The NTA is also addressing the public grievances received regarding the Exam conducted for CUET (UG) - 2024 and received up to 30 June 2024. If the grievance is genuine, the NTA is committed to redoing the Exam for these Candidates at selected Centres any day between 15 to 19 July 2024. The Admit Card will be issued to the Candidates. All such candidates will take the Exam in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode only.
