CUET UG 2024: NTA Announces Retest for Affected CUET (UG) 2024 Candidates


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice regarding the conduct of a retest for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate (UG) 2024 for affected candidates. This retest, scheduled for July 19, 2024, will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The challenges were invited from 07 to 09 July 2024 vide Public Notice dated: 07 July 2024. All challenges received online were shown to the concerned subject experts. Based on the feedback of the subject experts, the Final Answer Keys are being prepared and the same will be uploaded soon on the official website of the CUET (UG) – 2024.

07 जुलाई 2024 की सार्वजनिक सूचना के अनुसार 07 से 09 जुलाई 2024 तक चुनौतियाँ आमंत्रित की गई थीं। ऑनलाइन प्राप्त सभी चुनौतियाँ संबंधित विषय विशेषज्ञों को दिखाई गईं। विषय विशेषज्ञों की प्रतिक्रिया के आधार पर, अंतिम उत्तर कुंजी तैयार की जा रही है और इसे जल्द ही CUET (UG) - 2024 की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर अपलोड किया जाएगा।

The CUET (UG) 2024 examinations were previously conducted in a hybrid mode (both CBT and pen & paper) on various dates in May 2024, covering 379 examination centers in 26 cities outside India for approximately 1.348 million candidates. Challenges were invited from candidates between July 7 and July 9, 2024, and were reviewed by subject experts. Based on these reviews and the grievances submitted by June 30, 2024, and complaints sent to rescuecuet@nta.ac.in, NTA decided to conduct a retest for the affected candidates.

Affected candidates have been informed through email, and they can download their admit cards from the official NTA website using their application number and date of birth. The NTA advises all candidates to regularly visit their website for the latest updates and to follow the Subject-Specific Instructions and other important guidelines.
