Allahabad University has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate (UG) Examinations to 5th August 2024. Previously, the deadline was set to expire today.

Last date for Profile update Registration is extended up to August 05, 2024.

- Due to high student demand, the last date for Registration/Profile Update for undergraduate admission at the University of Allahabad has been extended.

- This extension applies to admissions through CUET-UG-2024.

- The new deadline for registration is now 5 August, 2024.

- This notice was issued by Prof. Jayanta Kumar Pati, Director of Admissions 2024 at the University of Allahabad.

As of this evening, over 46,980 candidates had registered for the entrance examination for undergraduate courses at the University of Allahabad. Due to this relatively low number of registrations, the university administration decided to extend the registration deadline.

Last date for Profile update Registration is extended up to August 05, 2024.

It is important to note that admissions for courses such as LLB, LLM, IPS, PGAT-I, and PGAT-II at Allahabad University are conducted through separate exams and not through the CUET conducted by the National Testing Agency.

Steps to Register for CUET Examinations:

CUET-UG (2024) applicants seeking admission to undergraduate programs at the University of Allahabad and its constituent colleges should register on the Samarth Portal at [https://alldunivcuet.samarth.edu.in/](https://alldunivcuet.samarth.edu.in/). The registration and counseling process will be conducted in two phases.

Phase-1: Registration/Profile Update

The registration and profile update can be done from July 6, 2024, to July 20, 2024. Then it is extended to 30 july.

Now date has been Extended. Registration/Profile updates can be completed up to 5 August 2024.

Applicants are required to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by the University of Allahabad and must have the following documents ready:

1. CUET-UG (2024) Admit Card: This is mandatory for the registration process.

2. Class 10 and 10+2 Marksheet cum Certificate Both the marksheet and certificate are required.

3. Photo and Signature: These must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.

4. Recent Caste Certificate: For applicants from EWS/OBC/SC/ST categories, the certificate should be in the Central Government format, bearing certificate numbers and issuance date.

Applicants must ensure that all information is entered correctly on the portal. Note that registration is only available for those who appeared in CUET-UG (2024).

Phase-2: Programme Selection and Payment of Registration Fee

Following the declaration of CUET-UG (2024) results:

- Applicants can select their desired course(s) or programme on the portal.

- A registration fee is applicable:

- ₹300 for UR/OBC/EWS categories

- ₹150 for SC/ST/PwD categories

- The fee is charged for each course/programme selected.

Applicants must complete the registration/update their profile and pay the registration fee after programme/course selection to be considered for the counseling process. The university will announce the dates for course/programme selection and payment of the registration fee separately.
