The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the objection window for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG 2024) today, July 9. The CUET UG answer key was released on July 7, and candidates were invited to register any concerns at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET until 5 pm today.The CUET UG answer key 2024 may be downloaded by candidates using their login information, which includes their application number and password.
Students can estimate their CUET 2024 score by looking into the answer keys against their responses. If candidates are dissatisfied with the preliminary answer key, they can dispute it for Rs 200 per question. Candidates can also file a claim against the OMR grading by paying Rs 200. The fee can be paid with a debit card, a credit card, or through net banking.
CUET UG Answer Key 2024: How to Challenge
Step 1: Visit the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG./
Step 2: Click the ‘CUET UG answer key challenge’ link on the site.
Step 3: Enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin as presented.
Step 4: Now, click the Submit button.
Step 5: On the dashboard, select the ‘View/Challenge Answer Key’ option.
Step 6: If you want to challenge a choice, use any one or more of the alternatives offered in the following five columns by clicking the tick box.
Step 7: Upload supporting papers by clicking on ‘Choose File’.
Step 8: After picking the option ID, scroll down and click ‘Submit and Review Claims’ to go to the next step.
Step 9: All contested question IDs and choices will be presented.
Step 10: Select ‘Save Claim and Pay Fee’.
Step 11: Pay the challenge fee as required.
Experts in the field will verify the challenges put up by the candidates. If any candidate’s challenge is deemed to be accurate, the Answer Key will be changed and applied to all candidates’ responses as needed. The result will be generated and declared using the amended Final Answer Key. The NTA said that no individual candidate would be informed of the approval or rejection of his or her challenge.
The NTA has stated that it would hold a CUET re-exam in 2024 for applicants who filed grievances before June 30. The tests will be place from July 15 to 19. Along with the CUET UG tentative answer key, the NTA released the question papers and candidates’ answers. The CUET UG 2024 admission exam was administered in a hybrid style (computer-based and pen-and-paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024.
The National Testing Agency conducted the CUET (UG) – 2024 Examination in Hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) Mode on 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 May 2024 at various Examination Centers located in 379 cities including 26 cities outside India, for about 13.48 lacs candidates, as per the following schedule:

Examination:
i. For Computer Based Test (CBT), the Question Papers with Recorded Responses.
ii. For Pen & Paper Exam (OMR-based), Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet, and Recorded Responses.
To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet shall be sent to the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online
Application Form of CUET (UG) – 2024.
Candidates are being given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated below. Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged.
The payment of the processing fee may be made through a debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking up to 09 July 2024 (up to 06:00 P.M.).
No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee.The Challenges will not be accepted through any other medium.
The detailed information along with the procedure for the challenge of the Answer Key for Computer Based Test (CBT) is at Annexure 1 and for Pen & Paper (Offline) is at Annexure 2.
Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.
The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 09 July 2024 (up to 05:00 P.M.).
Challenges accepted against any Answer Key will be applicable to all candidates who would have attempted the corresponding Question.
In case you are not able to view your OMR/Recorded responses you may e-mail your grievances to rescuetug@nta.ac.in with your Application Number, Candidate Name, and Subject Code and Subject Name. Only those grievances which are received before 05:00 P.M. on 09 July 2024 will be considered.
The NTA is also addressing the public grievances received regarding the Exam conducted for CUET (UG) - 2024 and received up to 30 June 2024. If the grievance is genuine, the NTA is committed to redoing the Exam for these Candidates at selected Centres any day between 15 to 19 July 2024. The Admit Card will be issued to the Candidates. All such candidates will take the Exam in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode only.
