The path of those taking admission in Masters in second subject in the academic session 2024-25 of Allahabad University and affiliated colleges will not be easy. Candidates doing MA (double MA) in second subject will be required to score more than 80 percent marks i.e. grade-9 points in Masters (MA in first subject). Earlier, 60 percent marks were mandatory. After this, the permission of the Vice Chancellor has also been made mandatory.
इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय एवं संबद्ध कॉलेजों से डबल एमए करने के नियम बदले गए हैं। डबल एमए करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को परास्नातक (पहले विषय से एमए) में 80 फीसदी से ज्यादा अंक लाना अनिवार्य होगा।
इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय एवं संबद्ध कॉलेजों के शैक्षिक सत्र 2024-25 में दूसरे विषय में परास्नातक में दाखिला लेने वालों की राह आसान नहीं होगी। दूसरे विषय से एमए (डबल एमए) करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को परास्नातक (पहले विषय से एमए) में 80 फीसदी से ज्यादा अंक लाना यानी ग्रेड-9 प्वाइंट अनिवार्य होगा। इससे पहले 60 फीसदी अंक की बाध्यता होती थी। इसके बाद कुलपति की अनुमति भी अनिवार्य कर दी गई है।

Now grades are awarded instead of marks in PG. Under the new system, only those candidates who are willing to do PG again, who have obtained grade-9, will get the opportunity. Converting grade-9 into marks gives 80 to 90 percent marks. Apart from this, if they are working in any institute, then employer certificate will have to be given. A committee will screen the applications of students doing double MA. After this, the committee will send it to the Vice Chancellor for admission. The candidate will be able to take admission only after getting approval from the Vice Chancellor.
It is known that the entrance examination for admission in Masters, Institute of Professional Studies (courses run under IPS), LLB, LLM, B.Ed-M.Ed, MBA, MBA-RD in the new academic session of Allahabad University and affiliated colleges was completed on Thursday. The result is proposed in the third week of July. At the same time, preparations are being made to take admission from the last week.
