Allahabad University Holds Results of Students Involved in Protests; Disciplinary Actions Taken by Chief Proctor
Allahabad University: The university administration has withheld the results of about 60 students who were involved in the recent uproar over different issues in Allahabad University (AU). Disciplinary action was taken against these students by the Chief Proctor. Now the results will be released only after getting the green signal from the Proctor's Office.
Law Students at Allahabad University Boycott Exam and Protest Over Wrong Paper Distribution
In this case, an FIR was lodged against the miscreants by the University of Allahabad administration. The students involved in the incident were identified through CCTV footage and action for suspension was taken against them.
Apart from this, students in the law faculty boycotted the examination and created a ruckus alleging that the wrong paper was distributed. In this case also, some students were identified and disciplinary action was taken against them.
Apart from this, disciplinary action has also been taken by the Chief Proctor in different cases of indiscipline. The results of the students involved in all these cases have been withheld by University of Allahabad. The students whose results have been withheld are of first, second and third year of graduation. Their results will be released only after getting the green signal from the Chief Proctor's office. The result of the examinees is withheld only in two cases. If any hostel fee is pending on the student or the Controller of Examinations has not received clearance from the Chief Proctor's office after action taken against a student, then the result of the concerned student is withheld. - Prof. Jaya Kapoor, PRO, University of Allahabad
Allahabad University : हंगामे में शामिल छात्रों का रोका रिजल्ट, चीफ प्रॉक्टर ने की थी अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई
इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय (इविवि) में पिछले दिनों अलग-अलग मामलों को लेकर हुए हंगामे में शामिल तकरीबन 60 छात्रों का रिजल्ट विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने रोक दिया है। इन छात्रों के खिलाफ चीफ प्रॉक्टर की ओर से अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की गई थी। अब प्राॅक्टर ऑफिस से हरी झंडी मिलने के बाद ही परिणाम जारी किया जाएगा।
इविवि में पिछले दिनों एसएसएल हॉस्टल के एक छात्र ने तत्कालीन चीफ प्रॉक्टर डॉ. राकेश सिंह पर आरोप लगाए थे कि उन्होंने छात्र को अपने कार्यालय में बुलाकर पीटा। छात्र ने चीफ प्रॉक्टर के साथ प्रॉक्टोरियल बोर्ड के कुछ सदस्यों पर भी पिटाई करने का आरोप लगाया था। इस घटना के बाद इविवि परिसर में काफी हंगामा हुआ था। विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में तोड़फोड़ भी हुई थी और कुलसचिव पर स्याही फेंक दी गई थी।
इस मामले में इविवि प्रशासन की ओर से उपद्रवियों के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज कराई गई थी। घटना में शामिल छात्रों को सीसीटीवी फुटेज के माध्यम से चिह्नित करते हुए उनके खिलाफ निलंबन की कार्रवाई की गई थी। इसके अलावा विधि संकाय में छात्रों ने गलत पेपर वितरित किए जाने का आरोप लगाते हुए परीक्षा का बहिष्कार और हंगामा किया था। इस मामले में भी कुछ छात्रों को चिह्नित कर उनके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की गई थी।
इसके अलावा अनुशासहीनता के अलग-अलग मामलों में भी चीफ प्रॉक्टर की ओर से अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की गई है। इन सभी मामलों में संलिप्त छात्रों के परिणाम इविवि ने रोके हैं। जिन छात्रों का रिजल्ट रोका गया है, वे स्नातक प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय वर्ष के हैं। चीफ प्रॉक्टर कार्यालय की ओर से हरी झंडी मिलने के बाद ही इनका परिणाम जारी किया जाएगा।
सिर्फ दो मामलों में परीक्षार्थियों का रिजल्ट रोका जाता है। अगर छात्र पर हॉस्टल का कोई शुल्क बकाया है या किसी छात्र के खिलाफ हुई कार्रवाई के बाद चीफ प्रॉक्टर कार्यालय से परीक्षा नियंत्रक को क्लीयरेंस नहीं मिली है तो संबंधित छात्र का रिजल्ट रोक लिया जाता है। - प्रो. जया कपूर, पीआरओ, इविवि
