ABVP Represents the Voice of India's Youth: Ashish Chauhan
On the occasion of the 76th foundation day of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a seminar was held at the 'Malviya Auditorium' of Ishwar Sharan Degree College in Prayag Mahanagar. The event was organized by the ABVP workers of Prayag Mahanagar. ABVP celebrates its foundation day as National Students' Day across the country, marking it as a significant national program. The seminar featured Ashish Chauhan, ABVP's National Organizing Secretary, as the keynote speaker, with Ishwar Sharan Degree College Principal Anand Shankar Singh presiding over the event.
Having completed 75 years, ABVP has entered its 76th year, emerging as the world's largest student organization. ABVP has made significant contributions in various fields such as education, society, environment, service, sports, and technology. The organization's success is attributed to the dedication and struggles of its former workers. Present in every campus across India, ABVP aims for nation reconstruction through personality development. Unlike other student organizations affiliated with specific political parties, ABVP independently makes its own decisions and focuses on addressing student issues.
Ashish Chauhan highlighted ABVP's journey, stating, "Today marks the 76th foundation day of ABVP, a journey intertwined with India's development. ABVP members, guided by the motto 'Knowledge, Character, Unity,' prioritize the nation above all. Representing the voice of India's youth, ABVP has steadfastly avoided party politics, focusing instead on student interests. Our organization not only addresses educational issues but also engages with various societal components, striving for societal transformation rather than a change of power."
Dr. Anand Shankar Singh, Principal of Ishwar Sharan Degree College, praised ABVP's working culture, stating, "ABVP's ethos reflects the Indian society's working culture. I learned valuable lessons from ABVP during my early days, which remain with me. ABVP's assertion that 'student power is national power' is evident today."
The seminar also saw participation from ABVP Ishwar Sharan Degree College Unit Vice-president Swati Palak and Unit Secretary Divyansh Upadhyay.
