In a timely response to the impending deadline, the University of Allahabad has extended the last date for the Post-Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2024 applications. Today, originally set as the final registration date, now marks the onset of an extended period, granting applicants more time to complete their registration, submit application forms, and make fee payments.
The revised deadline for registration, application submission, and fee payment is now extended until 12th June 2024. This extension aims to alleviate any potential rush or inconvenience, ensuring that all interested candidates have ample time to complete the necessary procedures.
The PGAT-2024 encompasses a diverse range of courses, including M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., B.Ed., M.Ed., M.B.A., LL.B., LL.M., and IPS, among others.

Key highlights of the PGAT 2024-25 examination are as follows:
1. Registration: Online registration for PGAT 2024-25 will commence on 16th May 2024, and the last date for registration and submission of the application form is set for 12th June 2024.
2. Registration Process: Applicants can register through the official website of Allahabad University (www.allduniv.ac.in) or via the dedicated registration portal at https://aupravesh2024.cbtexam.in.
3. Examination Dates: The tentative date for the entrance examination is scheduled for the third week of June 2024. Results are expected to be declared by the first week of July 2024. Counseling for admission to various courses will commence from the third week of July 2024.
4. Courses Offered: PGAT 2024-25 will cover a wide range of PG courses, including PGAT-I (32 courses), PGAT-II (24 courses), and professional courses offered by the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS).
5. Examination Pattern: The pattern and method of the entrance examination will remain consistent with the previous year. PGAT-I, LL.B., M.Com., and LL.M. examinations will be conducted in both online and offline modes, while PGAT-II and IPS courses will be conducted exclusively in online mode.
6. Examination Centers: The entrance examination will be held at various centers across multiple cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and New Delhi. Additionally, online-only centers include Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.
7. Admit Card: Applicants will be able to download the admit card one week before the examination. Admittance to the examination center will strictly require a valid admit card and original identity card.
8. Important Instructions: Applicants are reminded that the use of mobile phones, calculators, electronic devices, or any unauthorized materials during the examination is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
