Allahabad University Announces Expected PG Examination Date, Check the dates

The University of Allahabad (UoA) announces the commencement of admissions for the Postgraduate (PG) programs through the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2024. With a total of approximately 3,600 seats available across various disciplines, UoA is gearing up to welcome the next cohort of talented students.

PG Examination in the First Week of July

The University is also set to conduct the PG examination in the first week of July, providing candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. This examination serves as a crucial component of the admission process, allowing UoA to select the most qualified candidates for its PG programs.

One notable addition to the PG course offerings this year is the introduction of the "M.A. in Gandhian Thought and Peace Studies," available through PGAT-II. This new program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Gandhian philosophy and principles of peace studies. The intake for this program is set at 30 students, with eligibility criteria being graduation in any discipline.

The response to PGAT 2024 has been overwhelming, with over 31,500 candidates having already paid the registration fee. Almost all courses have seen a significant increase in registrations and form submissions compared to the previous year (2023-24).

LLB Three Year Course:

- Total Registration: 15,104

- Total Form Submitted: 10,054

PGAT (PGAT-I/PGAT-II including LLM, B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA/MBA (RD), M.P. Ed. etc.):

- Total Registration: 35,055

- Total Form Submitted: 20,954

In total, there have been 52,777 registrations and 31,571 form submissions for PGAT 2024.
