The diamond city of Surat witnessed a grand event as the 'Nagrik Satkar Samaroh' was organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) ahead of its National Executive Council meeting scheduled from 07-09 June 2024. The event, held in anticipation of the forthcoming meeting, saw the esteemed presence of notable figures, including renowned actor Manoj Joshi, ABVP National President Dr. Rajsharan Shahi, National General Secretary Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, Chairman of the Welcome Committee Shri Lavjibhai Dalia, Secretary of the Welcome Committee Shri Dineshbhai Rajpurohit, State President of ABVP Gujarat Shri Laxmanbhai Bhutdia, and ABVP Gujarat State Secretary Shri Samarth Bhatt. Additionally, the program was graced by the attendance of numerous dignitaries and esteemed businessmen from Surat.
In a celebration of culture and tradition, the event showcased the vibrant folk culture of Gujarat through a captivating cultural program.
During the 'Nagrik Satkar Samaroh', distinguished actor Mr. Manoj Joshi shared profound insights, emphasizing the essence of Indianness deeply ingrained within him. Reflecting on the 350th year of Shivaji Maharaj's coronation, Mr. Joshi highlighted the significance of this historic occasion, drawing parallels with the indomitable spirit and vision of Shivaji Maharaj in shaping the nation. He underscored the pivotal role of organizations like Vidyarthi Parishad in fostering Indian ethos and nurturing qualities of knowledge, humility, and unity among citizens.
Addressing the audience, ABVP National General Secretary Shri Yagywalkya Shukla lauded the transformative impact of the new National Education Policy, emphasizing the need for aligning educational endeavors with contemporary requirements.
