ABVP to Launch "Parisar Chalo Abhiyan" Nationwide; "Parisar Chalo Rath" to be Conducted in Each District of ABVP Kashi

The National Executive Council meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was held in Surat from June 7-9, during which the ABVP made important decisions on various subjects. Resolutions were passed on five major topics: addressing mismanagement of examinations and institutional evaluations, prioritizing the effective implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, campaigning for the creation of modern infrastructure and financial support in educational institutions, encouraging youth participation in a developed India, and meeting public expectations from the newly elected Government of India.

ABVP's "Parisar Chalo Abhiyan" to Address Declining Campus Attendance and Examination Irregularities

In response to irregularities in NEET and NET examinations conducted by the NTA, ABVP members from all districts and major educational institutions across India held nationwide demonstrations. ABVP Kashi has set a target of enrolling over 5 lakh members, and through the 'Parisar Chalo Rath' initiative, students in all districts of Kashi will be encouraged to engage with their campuses. The attendance rate of students in campuses has been continuously decreasing. To address this, the Vidyarthi Parishad will launch the "Parisar Chalo Abhiyan" across the country, completing the campaign in two phases. This initiative aims to ensure the participation of students and other stakeholders in the education sector.

At a press conference held at Patrakar Sangh Bhawan in Town Hall, Varanasi today, ABVP Kashi's State Secretary Shri Abhay Pratap Singh stated, "The Vidyarthi Parishad is dedicated to positive change in the country's education sector through continuous constructive efforts. At the National Executive Council meeting, we discussed necessary reforms, whether in infrastructure, curriculum, or the establishment of new educational institutions. As a responsible student organization, the Vidyarthi Parishad will act promptly on these issues."

He further added, "The Vidyarthi Parishad has demonstrated across the country regarding allegations of irregularities in the NEET-UG and NET examinations conducted by the NTA. We have long demanded that 'there should be no compromise with transparency in any examination.' Last evening, in response to our demand, a decision was made to conduct a CBI inquiry into the NEET exam. ABVP welcomes this decision and maintains that educational irregularities are never acceptable. We will continue to fight vigorously for students' rights until these issues are resolved."
