There is a plan to register students on the Samarth portal during counseling for admission in UG, so that the complete data related to the students is also with the Ministry of Education and on the basis of this data the Ministry can implement its schemes. The intention of the Ministry is to have centralized data of students studying in universities and colleges across the country and for this purpose their registration is being done on Samarth portal.
Improving University Admissions: Allahabad University Teams Up with Samarth Portal
A meeting was held on Tuesday between representatives of Allahabad University and Samarth Portal to discuss how to implement this process. In this, the officials of the admission cell were given information about the process of taking admission through the portal. During this, a power point presentation was also given by Samarth. The next phase of meeting will also be held soon, in which preparations will be made to give shape to the further process. Those seeking admission to undergraduate courses at Allahabad University through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
Switching to Samarth Portal for PG Course Registrations
The university completes the admission process for PG courses at its own level. After the release of CUET result, the university registers the candidates taking admission on its website. This time, preparations are being made to conduct the process of registration, counseling and admission through Samarth Admission Portal.
