Allahabad University and NRDC signed an agreement


Allahabad University
has entered into an MoU with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), an enterprise under the Ministry of Science and Technology, for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection and technology commercialization. Registrar Prof. on behalf of University of Allahabad. NK Shukla and NRDC CMD Commodore Amit Rastogi signed the MoU which will be valid for 10 years.

Public Relations Officer of the University, Prof. Jaya Kapoor appreciated this initiative and said that this achievement was achieved by Vice Chancellor Prof. This has been possible due to the efforts of Sangeeta Srivastava. Dean Research Prof. SI Rizvi said that despite the talent, there was a lack of guidance to the students and researchers in patenting and commercializing their products which would no longer be there.

Meanwhile, Dr. Vishnu Prabhakar Srivastava, Chairman of IVV Patent Committee, said that efforts have been started to commercialize the university's innovations for social benefit. The objective of this agreement is to promote, develop and commercialize technologies, know-how, inventions and patents emanating from the University.
