CUET UG 2024 Exam City Slip Will Be Released on this Date, Confirms UGC Chairman

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 by May 5, confirms UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. Once issued, candidates who have registered for the CUET UG 2024 exam will be able to access and download the intimation slip from the official website at cuetug.ntaonline.in.

According to UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, candidates can expect to see their CUET UG exam city information on the National Testing Agency's website by May 5th, or even earlier. "The National Testing Agency is likely to announce the City of Examination information for CUET-UG by 5th May or earlier. Downloading Admit Cards from the NTA website will begin in the second week of May 2024," he writes on X (formerly Twitter)

How to download CUET UG 2024 City Slip?

Step 1. Visit the official website at cuetug.ntaonline.in

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the CUET UG 2024 admit card link.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page, enter the required credentials and submit.

Step 4. Your CUET UG 2024 exam city slip will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5. Download and take a printout of the CUET UG city slip 2024 for future reference.

Last week, the schedule for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 was released. The date sheet can be accessed on the official website of NTA at exams.nta.ac.in. The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from May 15 to May 24.

As per the official schedule, the CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to 24, across 380 cities in India and an additional 26 international locations. This year, a record-breaking 13.48 lakh candidates have registered to take the CUET UG, aiming to secure admission into their desired undergraduate programs.

CUET (UG) – 2024: 63 Test Papers in 45-Minute Exam

As many as 63 test papers are being offered in the CUET (UG) – 2024. The examination will be conducted for 45 minutes.

Extended Duration and Shifts for Specific Subjects

However, for subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Tests, the duration of the test will be 60 minutes. The examination will be conducted in four shifts -Shift 1A will be conducted from 10 am to 11 am, shift 1B from 12.15 pm to 1 pm, shift 2A will be held from 3 pm to 3.45 pm, and shift 2B will be conducted from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Three Shifts for Remaining Papers

Whereas, other papers will be conducted in three shifts- shift 1 from 9 am to 11.15 am, shift 2 from 1.15 pm to 2.45 pm, and shift 3 from 4.45 pm to 6.15 pm.

What is CUET?

The full form of CUET is the Common University Entrance Test. This exam is a common entrance test for UG admissions into more than 45 central universities and 25+ universities in total across the country. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in an online computer-based MCQ mode.
